Chicago Drawbridge Lift From Above | Congress Parkway to Van Buren

An epic cinematic flight over downtown Chicago capturing one of the city’s most iconic moments — the legendary bridge lifts for sailboats along the Chicago River.

The flight begins near Congress Parkway before turning north over the river, revealing incredible views of the skyline, moving sailboats, and the dramatic lift of the Van Buren Bridge as boats pass through the heart of the city. Along the way, two working crew boats move through the river corridor beneath towering skyscrapers, with stunning views of Willis Tower rising above downtown.

This is Chicago at its best — engineering, architecture, motion, and the energy of the river all coming together in one unforgettable scene.
